Our History

We have been developing managed, purpose-built, age-exclusive communities in the UK since 1981.

The concept was developed along similar lines to the American models of creating lifestyle developments that were based around solely retirement aged community. We then tailored this concept to meet the UK market needs which were very different.

In 2018, we set out an ambitious plan to grow the portfolio of villages and extend and enhance the range of services and facilities to residents outside of the UK.  This expansion is now underway, starting in Thailand.
